Meet Datren Williams
Datren L. Williams, was first elected to the Conroe Independent School District Board of Trustees in 2012 and currently serves as the Board Secretary. He has held many roles on the Board, including Board President and President of the Finance and Audit Committee. Datren is a licensed Certified Public Accountant with the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy. He has been employed for the past 10 years as the Chief Financial Officer with an oil and gas logistics company and serves as a member of its Board of Directors.
He also served from 2014-2020 on the Montgomery County Women’s Center Board of Directors.

Nurturing a Foundation for Learning
Mr. Williams earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Louisiana State University. Thereafter, he earned his Master of Science in Corporate Finance, also from Louisiana State University.
After graduate school, he and his wife, Maya, moved to The Woodlands where they have resided for the past 22 years.
Datren’s remarkable wife, Maya, is an elementary school speech therapist in Conroe Independent School District with 22 years (and counting!) of service as an educator. They have three sons, Daven (21) a graduate of CISD now attending Sam Houston State University, Darren (17) a student in CISD, and Dillen (15) a student in CISD.
